ABOUT US

Who We Are

Texas School of Music is a multicultural music school serving the Houston area. We offer music lessons in Piano, Bass Guitar, Guitar, Ukulele, Violin, Voice, Drums & Percussion, Saxophone, Flute, Clarinet, Trumpet, Tuba, and Trombone. We educate our students in the fundamentals of music and train them to become performers. We believe quality instruction, musicianship, and creativity are equally crucial in musical education. Our teachers are among the best, bringing to our school a genuine heart and passion for teaching students of all levels. Our students participate in ensembles, recitals, and performances throughout the year. This is the place where musicians are made!

Our Mission

Our central goal is to create grounded musicians who love actively practicing their art as part of a well-rounded life. We also hope our students may grow to lead and instruct others, sharing and passing on the joy of musical expression. Here at Texas School of Music, we inspire our students to expand their musical horizons and support rising artists. We constantly challenge our students’ interests and development through performance metrics to ensure they meet their musical goals. Ultimately, our desire is to nurture a love of music that enriches and lasts a lifetime.

Come and visit and you will see and hear an array of cultures and ethnicities. This is because we believe that it’s music that unites us all in one language in one place.

Welcoming Environment

Age is no boundary when learning music. Science has shown that the brain is capable of changing and learning throughout one’s life. Here at Texas School of Music we offer individual lessons for students of all levels, ages six and up. Our lessons are tailored to each student’s capability and
musical interests.
